US Cotton Export Sales

  The following US cotton export sales weekly is based on Exporter Report submitted on -20 January 14, 2011.


The net sales of 261600 cotton bags increased by 37% compared with last week. The report shows that the number increased in China (100400 packs), Turkey (36700 packages), Indonesia (28300 packages), and Bangladesh (21300 packages), but partly offset by the unknown destination (2200 packages). 2011/12 net sales of 238000 bales for the year. The main buyers are China (174400 bales) and Thailand (27800 bales).


The report on China's exports to its own account is (5400 packages). The export of 362500 tons of Land Cotton (the highest annual sales) increased by 12% compared with last week, and the average export volume increased by 27%. The main destinations are China (95300 bales), Turkey (64800 packages), Thailand (29300 packages), Mexico (28200 pack), Pakistan (25100 pack), and Indonesia (23500 pack).


Pima cotton sold 20000 packs in net sales, compared with last week and around four weeks. Sale The number is obviously improved. The report showed that the number increased in China (17600 packs), Japan (1100 packs), and Pakistan (900 packs). The report shows that Switzerland has reduced the number (200 packs). 2011/12 net sales of 12900 packages, including China (6100 packages), Peru (2600 packs), and Taiwan (2000 pack).


   Pima cotton There are 32300 packages for export. The main destinations are China (16000 packages), India (4500 packs), Peru (2800 packages), and Pakistan (2400 packages).
