Hu Fengwei: pure wool logo is the trademark of the wool board authorized by the international wool Bureau. It is the guarantee of wool product quality and confidence. It marks the wool content of a product up to 95%. It is also said that when consumers see the pure wool logo, we can know that the quality of the wool products in line with the quality standards of the international wool Bureau, and the manufacturers that produce this product have been approved by the relevant organizations. For example, a sweater, in addition to its factory to be authorized, but also through 13 tests can be allowed to use pure wool logo trademark, test content not only contains wool fiber content, color fastness, but also includes the bursting strength, oil content, pilling, appearance and so on.

Reporter: in addition to clothing and other end products, what is the use of pure wool logo?


Hu Fengwei: pure wool The logo is not only used on terminal products, but also semi finished products in the process of garment production. For example, the products of the spinning and weaving factories can also be marked with pure wool. The semi finished products produced by these spinning factories and weaving factories must first conform to part of the standard of wool logo, such as fiber dimension and color fastness. When these products are sold to garment factories and sweater factories, the products processed by them can simplify some test items.


In addition to clothing, other wool products, such as carpets and blankets, can also be marked with pure wool. Of course, different products need to pass different tests. In fact, in addition to wool products, pure wool logo can also be used in other aspects related to wool, such as washing machines, electric irons and so on. If a pure wool logo is attached to the washing machine, it shows that it has procedures for cleaning sweaters.


Reporter: would you please briefly introduce the development process of the international wool bureau?


Hu Fengwei: The Woolmark Company is a non-profit organization. It mainly introduces the advantages of wool to consumers through scientific research and marketing, and improves the demand and dosage of wool. Australia will take part of the annual export income of wool as the fund of the international wool bureau to complete R & D and marketing activities.


The international wool Bureau was first established in 1937. It was first established by Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Uruguay to provide some commission for the export of wool, as a capital for the operation and operation of the organization. In 1964, the international wool Bureau continued to promote wool in the supply chain, and further introduced the advantages of wool fiber to consumers. In 2007, Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) acquired the international wool Bureau. Hu Fengwei: first of all, we have introduced some wool seminars and training courses to introduce the advantages of wool as a natural fiber, and we have developed some innovative products to promote wool. We also carry out the "wool movement" around the world. "Wool movement" is an activity jointly organized by the international wool Bureau and the wool Association of some countries to promote the natural fibers of wool worldwide.


In addition, we will also influence consumers through the power of designers, brands and media. Since 1954, the international wool Bureau has held the Australian Merino "wool logo Award" fashion design competition every year. This event not only attracts many talented young designers to participate, but also enables them to establish contacts with famous designers in fashion industry and expand their influence in the fashion industry.


At present, many factories in China have got the right to use pure wool logo. In 2008, Qiu Hao, a fashion designer from Shanghai, won the "wool logo Award". This shows not only the excellence of Chinese wool garment designers, but also the gradual maturity of China's woolen clothing design and brand promotion.


China has a large quantity of wool, and 60% of the Merino wool exported to China is the first choice for domestic sweaters. However, in our country, wool is used as a traditional thermal fiber, mostly when the weather is relatively cold in the north. In other clothing design, we still have a certain gap with Europe and the United States. It is hoped that through the promotion of the international wool Bureau and the joint efforts of wool workers and personnel, China will gain a faster development in the application of wool market.
